Ryan Seacrest hosts, AMERICAN TOP 40 LIVE, a special recognizing the hottest solo artists, groups and songs in pop music based on the year's leading performers on the "American Top 40" radio countdown show.

The special breaks new ground as the only show to exclusively salute the music industry’s most recognizable and encompassing genre – pop music.

AMERICAN TOP 40 LIVE features performances by Ryan Cabrera, Gavin DeGraw, Finger Eleven, Maroon 5 and Hoobastank. Ciara, J-Kwon, Black Eyed Peas and Avril Lavigne make special appearances to discuss how the “American Top 40” countdown show has impacted their careers and propelled them to stardom.
